Wood Decks

Houston Deck and Shade LLC will also ensure that you understand the critical differences in material quality.  Though the frame and underside of your deck is hidden, it is vital that “ground contact” lumber is used.  You can trust that Houston Deck and Shade will always install the right product and never “cut corners”.  For example, lumber prices are constantly fluctuating and many contractors find themselves having to call the customer back and increase the price.  Houston Deck and Shade is different; we have our own lumber store!  When you put down a deposit for your new deck, the material is ordered and stored at Loren’s Lumber right next door.  This will ensure that your price will not increase when lumber prices rise.

Pergolas

Our Pergolas are available in Western Red Cedar and Pressure-treated pine material options. We use Twin wall polycarbonate roof sheeting that lets natural light into your living space but blocks harmful UV rays and inclement weather. Cedar structures have the option to be pre-stained off-site to speed up the installation process and eliminate the possibility of stain overspray. Choose from a large variety of options.
